Donna (Humphrey) Quinn

Donna (Humphrey) Quinn was an outstanding high school swimmer for Westminster during the 1960’s. A backstroke specialist, Quinn participated in the Senior National Championships and the 1968 Olympic Trials. Quinn was coached by fellow Georgia Aquatic Hall of Famer, Pete Higgins. She was a four-year State Champion in the 100y backstroke and set the National Record in 1967. Although Quinn attended Duke University, she was unable to continue swimming because Duke did not have a women’s team. In 1973, Quinn was Inducted into the Westminster Schools Hall of Fame.
