Carlton Bruner

Carlton Bruner

Carlton Bruner is an Olympian who grew up swimming with Dynamo Swim Club. From 1991-1994, Bruner swam for the University of Florida. While a collegiate swimmer, Bruner won two SEC championship titles in distance freestyle events. He was a five-time National Champion in the 1500m freestyle. Bruner competed in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, finishing 13th in the 1500 meter freestyle. He also competed in the Pan-Pacific Games, World Championships, and Pan-American Games. In 1995, Bruner won gold at the Pan-Am Games in the 1500m freestyle.

Bruner remains involved with swimming by giving back through Swim Across America events.
