Jud Campbell was one of Georgia’s greatest divers, training at Moultrie’s legendary Moss Farms and excelling at every level of competition. In high school, Jud was state champion, All American, Academic All American, US Diving Junior National champion, and YMCA National champion. Jud represented the University of Georgia in college and continued his stellar career. As a Bulldog, Jud won three Southeastern Conference titles in 1998 and 1999, including UGA’s first SEC diving titles in 30 years. In 2001, Jud was named SEC Diver of the Year. During his collegiate career, Jud would be named NCAA All American nine times and Academic All American three times. In 2001, Jud was the US Diving Senior National champion. As a result of Jud’s outstanding performance at national competitions resulted in him being named to multiple US National teams and representing the United States in international competitions.
