Jemique Lauryn (McCalley) Niday

Jemique Lauryn (McCalley) Niday began her diving career in Moultrie, Georgia. She was a member of the Moss Farms Diving where she won nine Junior Championships and three National Synchronized Diving Championships. Niday later attended the University of Tennessee and was a member of the diving team from 2001-2004. She was the SEC Freshman Diver of the Year and the National Diving Champion her first year at Tennessee. Lauryn received many accolades in academics, leadership, and diving while at Tennessee. In 2005, Niday was the NCAA Woman of the Year her senior year. Her international experiences took her to Malaysia, Czech Republic, and Canada to represent the United States. Niday was inducted into the Colquitt Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.
