William Q. Artley
William Artley was a founding member of the Savannah Swim Team. Will was Georgia’s High School Swimmer of the Year in 1969. In 1972, Will was a finalist in the USA Olympic Trials. While attending the University of Florida, Will won three SEC titles and 10 All-American honors. He was a member of US National Teams in 1973 and 1976. Will continued his career as a Masters swimmer and was a National Champion in 1991 and a World Champion in 1992 in the 100-meter Freestyle.
