Billy Heinz

Billy Heinz is a former diver who competed for Westminster Schools and Princeton. The height of Heinz’s diving career was while he attended Princeton. In 1973, Heinz was one of only three divers in the country to place in the AAU Summer National finals in all three diving events. Heinz was runner-up in the NCAA Championships in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events in 1974. The following year, he represented the United States in the World Championships where he placed fourth and fifth in his respective events. For over 30 years, Heinz held the Princeton school record in the 1-meter, which was the oldest record in Princeton Swimming & Diving history.
