Angel (Myers) Martino

Angel (Myers) Martino is a two-time Olympian who grew up swimming in Americus, Georgia. She swam for Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Martino participated in the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games and 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, of which she was the captain of the Team USA Swimming Team. Between 1992 and 1996, she who a total of six medals at the Olympic Games, three relay golds and three individual bronze medals in the 50m freestyle, 100m butterfly, and 100m freestyle. Her 1992 Olympic 4x100m relay team also set a new world record. In addition to the Olympic Games in Barcelona, her international experience includes World Championship, Pan-Pacific, Pan-American, and Goodwill Games competitions.
