Chris Davis

Chris Davis is the founder, owner and head coach of SwimAtlanta. Prior to coaching, Davis swam for the Decatur DeKalb YMCA and competed collegiately for Birmingham Southern University. Davis founded SwimAtlanta in 1977. SwimAtlanta has since become one of the top programs in the country and grown to be the largest club in Georgia with seven locations across the metro area. Davis has established a successful business model that brings in kids from the learn-to-swim level and helps develop them into elite athletes. Olympians coming out of the SwimAtlanta program include Eric Shanteau, Hans Dersch, Doug Gjertsen, Kathleen Hersey, and Amanda Weir.
