William Q. Artley-2018

William Artley was a founding member of the Savannah Swim Team. Will was Georgia’s High School Swimmer of the Year in 1969. In 1972, Will was a finalist in the USA Olympic Trials. While attending the University of Florida, Will won three SEC titles and 10 All-American honors. He was a member of US National Teams in 1973 and 1976. Will continued his career as a Masters swimmer and was a National Champion in 1991 and a World Champion in 1992 in the 100-meter Freestyle.

Jason Turcotte-2018

Jason Turcotte was the Head Coach of Dynamo Swim Club in Atlanta. Jason swam competitively; however, he preferred to coach swimmers rather than compete. During his career, Jason coached at Stanford University, the Lake Erie Silver Dolphins, and the Naperville Riptide Swim Team. While at Dynamo, Jason focused on training both athletes and coaches and saw Dynamo become one of the premier swim clubs in the nation. In 2016, four Dynamo swimmers participated in the Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games. Jason passed away in 2016.

Glynn Perry-2018

Glynn Perry began his swimming career at a very young age. He set Georgia state records in every age group from 8 and under to senior boys. Glynn was the USA Junior National Champion in both the 400 Individual Medley and the 200 Butterfly in 1976. In 1979 he was the Senior National Champion in the 200 Butterfly. Glynn attended the University of Florida where he received six All-American honors and was a member of the 1979 Pan American Games.

Lane Bassham Winchester-2018

Lane Bassham Winchester was a diver from Moultrie’s Moss Farms. She was a member of the USA National Diving Team from 1997-2004. During her career at the University of Alabama, Lane won three SEC Diving Championships, one NCAA Championship, and was an 8-time All-American Diver. In 2004, Lane was the SEC Diver of the Year. She also won three National Synchronized Diving Championships.

Francine S Williamson-2018

Francine Williamson is Georgia’s most decorated female Masters swimmer. During her career, she has held 50 first place national rankings ranging from 50-meters to 2 miles. Additionally, Francine has been ranked the top female swimmer in the following age groups: 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65-69. She has also held 10 National Records and World Records in the 100-meter Freestyle.
