{"id":4458,"date":"2019-09-03T21:09:23","date_gmt":"2019-09-03T21:09:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gahof.org\/?post_type=portfolio&#038;p=4458"},"modified":"2024-09-21T16:11:34","modified_gmt":"2024-09-21T16:11:34","slug":"kathy-mckee","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/gahof.org\/?portfolio=kathy-mckee","title":{"rendered":"Kathy McKee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kathy McKee is one of the leading age group coaches in the country, having developed hundreds<br \/>of swimmers who have gone on to compete at the Junior and Senior national levels.<br \/>Beginning in 1977, Kathy coached for 17 years at Dynamo Swim Club, where she helped<br \/>develop Olympians, national champions, and American record holders, including Eric<br \/>Wunderlich, Carlton Bruner, and Mary Ellen Blanchard. In 1989, when Dynamo won<br \/>the National Women\u2019s Championship, every swimmer on that team had Kathy as their<br \/>age group coach. On four different occasions Kathy was named the Georgia Age Group<br \/>Coach of the Year. Kathy continued her stellar coaching career from 1994 to 2012<br \/>at SwimMac in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she was named to the coaching staff<br \/>of the 2007 National Junior Team.
